Chilean firm Molymet, one of the world's top processors of industrial molybdenum concentrates announced on July 8 its intention to issue up to US$300mn worth of stock exchange certificates in Mexico. In a statement to the Santiago stock exchange, the company said the debt notes will have terms of up to 20 years. Molymet is a global producer of molybdenum, an extremely heat-resistant metal used, among other things, in the manufacture of aircraft parts, electrical contacts, industrial motors and filaments.
