Not a week goes by without corporate activity in the oil industry, as companies, buoyed by high oil prices, continue to invest in new technologies and snap up assets. This week it is the turn of oil-extraction firm Rock Well Petroleum, who on July 7 announced a US$300mn-US$500mn London listing, in the hope of capitalising on high levels of investor interest in the sector.
