Indonesia's stock market has a strong IPO pipeline. PT Indika Energy, an energy conglomerate which raised US$300mn debuted on June 11 at INR3,300 (US$0.35) and proceeded to jump 12% in the first day of trading. More IPOs are on their way, with major mining and metals and energy companies lining up to enter the growing market. Indeed, the Jakarta Composite Index has risen nearly five-fold in the past five years, up 18% in the past year alone.
