Slovenia's largest international financial group, Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB), announced the sale of 898,204 shares on April 17. The sale will be conducted in three tranches and each share will be sold for EUR334 (US$534.79). NLB plans to raise around EUR300mn from the public offering to finance expansion in southeast Europe. Marjan Kramar stated that the bank 'will not pass up any opportunity that presents itself…in the countries of southeast Europe'.
