Rwanda's finance minister has announced that the government will sell its 10% stake in Sonorwa, an insurance firm, in May. The company will be the first to list on the Rwandan Over-The-Counter Market (ROTC), which has only traded bonds since it was created in January of this year. Rwanda's Capital Market Advisory Council (CMAC) has also just signed a memorandum of understanding with the East African Member States Securities Regulatory Authorities (EASRA), which will give the new market increased exposure to the global equity
