China's government investment company, the China State Development and Investment Corporation (SDIC), has to date invested domestically into low risk industries. In fact, the total CNY150bn (US$21.13bn) investment since the company was created in 1995 has been in the domestic market, with 90% going into infrastructure construction and resources-fuelled industries.
