Another week and yet another victim of the US credit crisis. Banks are expected to face more write-downs this quarter as buyers for leveraged loans are scarce. Some banks, including UBS AG and Credit Suisse Group, have already announced write-downs in Q407. UBS AG and Credit Suisse wrote-down US$400mn combined in the value of their leveraged loans.
