Svoboda, Collins, the Chicago-based private equity firm, has changed its name to Svoboda Capital Partners, partly as a result of the 2006 retirement of Michelle Collins, who co-founded the firm with John Svoboda in 1998. The firm is not changing its primary investment strategy—partnering with management teams as an investment business partner—according to Svoboda.
