Siemen's Osram Buys Siteco, Amidst IPO Speculation.

Siemens, Europe's largest engineering company announced on February 28 that its lighting unit, Osram is buying Siteco Lighting GmbH from Barclays Private Equity. The value of the purchase was not published by Siemens. At the same time rumours have emerged that Siemens is planning to float Osram in an IPO within the next two month.
