Tusmobil Sale Due September, Mid Europa Partners Likely Buyer

The sale of Slovenia's third largest mobile network operator Tusmobil is set to be formalised by early September, according to local news reports, netting around EUR150mn for its parent, the diversified business group Tus. The identity of the purchaser has not been revealed, but CFW considers that Tušmobil's lowly status in the maturing Slovenian market means that it is likely to be a private equity group. Mid Europa Partners (MEP), a serial investor in telecoms and broadband in central and eastern Europe, is the most likely candidate.
