Midway Airport Privatisation Faces Trouble Taking Off

Plans to privatise Midway International Airport in Chicago have hit repeated stumbling blocks following the notorious failure of the winning bidders to secure funding in April 2009. Although the city's authorities are still keen on privatising the airport, it has had to ask for an extension in order to refine its strategy to do so.
