The company's chief executive, Nasser Marafih, has highlighted his view of possible consolidation in the Middle East and how Qtel could gain scale by taking advantage of such opportunities. CFW thinks the company's acquisition drive is part of an ambitious strategy to be among the top 20 telecoms service providers globally. However, we believe its options are limited.
