Vodafone May Sell Polkomtel Stake

CFW has been surprised to see a report in Reuters stating that Vodafone would be open to selling its minority stake in Polish mobile operator Polkomtel. The information came from a fellow shareholder, while Vodafone itself has made no comment. It has been known for a while that, apart from Vodafone, Polkomtel's shareholders are looking to sell their stakes in the operator, not because it is unattractive, but rather because it is a non-core investment from which they could all receive a cash injection.
