Multinationals Among Bidders For In Demand Kraft Unit

Hershey and Nestlé are reportedly among the bidders for Kraft's Polish unit Wedel. Kraft agreed to sell the business to gain necessary EU regulatory clearance to complete the acquisition of Cadbury earlier in 2010. Believed to be valued at more than EUR200mn, Wedel is one of the strongest confectionery brands in Poland with a strong long-term outlook.
