Interest High Among Financial Groups For Endesa's Gas Grid
June 2010 | M&A AnalysisItalian utility Enel has announced that it has received 20 offers from financial groups and infrastructure funds for the divestment of its Spanish gas distribution and transmission network, owned and operated by its subsidiary Endesa. This is part of Enel's drive to divest non-core assets to reduce its debt levels, protect its rating and prepare the core of the company for new major ventures in Italy's nuclear power estate.
