BRIC Nations Responsible For Rising Share Of Global IPO Volume
May 2010 | IPO AnalysisAs we exit the downturn, the volume of IPOs from emerging markets (EM) has recovered faster than that from more developed states, and we believe this trend is likely to continue in 2010 and beyond. Driving this outperformance are the BRIC states, which have seen their combined IPO volume account for as much as 49% of global IPO volume in 2010 to-date. Significantly, this percentage is the largest year-to-date (y-t-d) volume for the BRIC states on record.
