Repsol's Brazilian Unit Mulls IPO To Fund Subsalt Work

Spanish major Repsol YPF is planning to sell 40% of its Brazilian assets to fund the multibillion-dollar development of its subsalt reserves. An initial public offering (IPO) of Repsol's Brazilian subsidiary could happen as soon as late-2010, company executives told Bloomberg on April 29 in a conference call.
