European Real Estate Firms Turning To Corporate Bonds
April 2010 | Corporate Financing AnalysisWith borrowing costs low in debt markets and with Greece's emergency loan package from the eurozone and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) helping investors shake off concerns over debt, European real estate firms are making their foray into corporate bond markets once again. In Q109 corporate bonds issued by real estate companies totalled US$1.70bn, up from just US$1.05bn in the previous quarter - according to Thomson Reuters data.
