Government Takes Positive Steps To Divest Incumbent

The government of Serbia is expected to put out a tender for consulting services over a possible sale of its stake in the incumbent fixed operator, Telekom Srbija, according to news daily Blic Online. The telecommunications minister, Jasna Matic, is reported to have said that the government has not officially debated the sale of the company, but is interested in assessing the potential benefits of selling some of its stake in the operator.
