Nitel Privatisation Process Moving To Next Stage

The final stage of financial bidding in the privatisation of Nigerian telecoms incumbent Nitel is to open on February 16 2010. The Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) has said that six parties will be allowed to bid, out of the 14 that prequalified at the initial stage of the process. BMI sees a range of problems still ahead for the privatisation process.
