Positive Outlook For Tech Sector In 2010

After a quiet year in Silicon Valley, the US technology sector is set to rebound strongly in 2010 - according to an annual tech investment survey conducted by research firm 451 Group . At the end of 2009, the 140 senior tech bankers surveyed highlighted four key areas in which they expect activity to pick up: price-to-sale multiples, IPOs, equity buyouts and staff headcounts. Interestingly, what makes such bullish sentiment among industry professionals so remarkable is the marked turnaround from the gloomy outlook the same survey provided just one year ago.
