Renminbi Funds Losing Their Shine?

Of the money raised so far this year towards investment in China, nearly 60% was raised through renminbi funds worth nearly RMB20.4bn, according to the Centre for Asia Private Equity Research. Private equity funds are extremely keen to set up renminbi funds, given that they allow easier access to Chinese deals and faster closure.
