Enterprise Software giant Oracle produces the second biggest IT deal of the week, with its agreement to acquire Primavera Software. By snapping up the leading provider of project portfolio management (PPM) solutions, Oracle is looking to increase momentum in its delivery of mission critical operational applications, and to create the 'first comprehensive enterprise project portfolio management solution for project-intensive industries'.
