Serco Acquires Contractor SI International

UK contractor Serco's North American division has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire SI International. Virginia-based Serco North America will pay US$32 per share in cash for the company, approximately US$423mn in total, and will assume SI's around US$83mn in debt. SI is a leading federal contracting company which focuses on mission critical technology, information services and network solutions for the US Department of Defense (DoD) as well as other US federal sectors.
