PMI To Sell-Off Australian Operations
August 2008 | M&A News AlertUS mortgage insurer PMI Group has agreed to sell its Australian subsidiary and holding company to QBE Insurance Group. QBE, Australia's largest insurance and reinsurance group, will pay US$920mn for the businesses. The two companies are also currently in talks over the sale of PMI's Asia business, but a definitive agreement has not yet been reached.
