Nova TV Bulgaria To Be Sold To Sweden's MTG

Sweden's Modern Times Group (MTG) has agreed to purchase Nova TV Bulgaria for EUR620mn (US$966mn). The all cash deal will expand MTG's reach into Europe. It already has a stake in a TV channel in Diema, Bulgaria, as well as channels in Russia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia and other Baltic States.
