Amnet Telecom To Be Sold To Millicom

Emerging markets-focussed telecommunications company Millicom has agreed to pay US$510mn for privately-owned Amnet Telecommunications. The acquisition will expand Millicom's presence in Central America, one of its most lucrative regions. The deal is expected to close in the next three months.
