Dutch multi-national AEGON NV, one of the world's leading insurance companies has finalized the acquisition of the Turkish pension provider Ankara Emeklilik, as part of its broader strategy to achieve 10% share of the market in central- and eastern-Europe by 2010. AEGON, one of the biggest insurers in the world by assets and market capitalization currently employs over 29,000 people worldwide.
