Telkom SA Receives Offers For Vodacom

South African incumbent telecoms operator Telkom SA has confirmed reports that it has received a non-binding proposal from Vodafone Group of the UK to acquire a portion of Telkom's 50% stake in the company's cellular business, Vodacom. This would be subject to, among other things, Telkom unbundling its remaining stake to Telkom shareholders.
