Mali's National Cotton Company Privatisation

May 2008 | Privatisation Analysis

The privatisation of the Compagnie Malienne du Développement des Textiles (CMDT), Mali's national cotton company, is underway after years of delay. On April 25 allAfrica.com reported that bids for tender have just been sent out. CMDT and the Societé de Telecommunications du Mali (SOTELMA) are scheduled to occur in 2008.
