Morgan Stanley Private Equity To Commence Indian Operations

Morgan Stanley has announced plans to set up a private equity fund in India from May 1, headed by former ICICI Venture director Aluri Rao. The plans reflect the scale of investment in India this year, with private equity investment up 67% in the first quarter to US$4bn.
