Credit Crunch: The Damage So Far

The numbers from the ongoing credit crunch are rolling in, and they are ugly. The International Monetary Fund last week projected in its Global Stability Report that US$945bn in losses could result from the turmoil in the US mortgage markets, including securities tied to commercial real estate and loans to consumers and companies.
