China's Zijin Mining Launches IPO
April 2008 | IPO News AlertChina's second-largest gold miner launched a Shanghai IPO on April 7. The IPO, which will take subscriptions on April 15 and 16, is the first major issue since China Railway Construction listed in late February. The offering could raise as much as US$1.4bn, based on its Hong Kong share price which has been trading around CYN7 and CYN8. Thirty percent of the offering will go to institutional investors, with the remainder for retail investors. The retail portion can be increased if the offering receives strong investor
