Ukrainian Electricity Firm Privatisation

The Ukrainian privatisation agency, the State Property Fund, has announced the sale of majority stakes in 10 of the state's electricity firms. In March the sale of 60% plus one share in four firms was announced. These are Dniproenergo, the state's largest electricity producer, as well as Donbassenergo, Zapadenergo and Centrenergo. The six other firms are regional electricity distribution companies Poltavaoblenergo, Lvovoblenergo, Prikarpattiaoblenergo, Chernigovoblenergo, Sumyoblenergo and Odessaoblenergo.
