O'Reilly To Join The Big Boys After Sealing CSK Deal
April 2008 | M&A News AlertO'Reilly Automotive Inc will close the gap on Advance Auto Parts Inc as the US' second biggest auto-parts retailer, after agreeing to pay US$528mn for the acquisition of CSK Auto Corp. The US$12 per share deal - which includes US$1 in cash and US$11 in stock - marks the end of a year-long battle to acquire CSK for Missouri-based O'Reilly, which had a previous US$352mn bid rejected in February this year.
