Colombian Mines Corporation IPO

Colombian Mines Corporation, a Canadian company formed in 2006, is conducting mineral exploration in Colombia via its subsidiary, Corporación Minera de Colombia. The company has filed with the securities regulatory authorities of the provinces of British Colombia, Alberta and Ontario for approval to make an initial public offering. Colombian Mines plans to issue one million shares at CDN1.00 (US$0.99) per share to raise CDN1mn. The closing is currently scheduled for March 31. The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) has conditionally approved the listing under the symbol CMJ.
