Still Bearish Dow Jones

A quintupling of the offer for Bear Stearns by JP Morgan , with continued backing from the Fed to the tune of US$29bn, was a brief positive for the Dow Jones equity index last week. However, the bourse failed to make it back above the 12,750 resistance level.
