Biotech, Oil Company Pull IPOs, SPACs Still Listing
February 2008 | Top StoriesThe news on the IPO front - at least as far as those backed by Private Equity are concerned - is more about withdrawals this week than fabulous debuts. So far in 2008, 16 IPOs have been cancelled, according to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings, a significant increase against 11 during the first six weeks of 2007 and just seven IPOs cancelled during the same period in 2006.
