Battle Won - But Has UK's Airport Sector Lost The War?

CFW View: BAA has once again lost a battle against the UK Competition Commission, which now requires the airport operator to sell its Stansted airport, due to its market dominance in Scotland and south-east England. Following this latest twist, we believe BAA is unlikely to appeal the ruling. However, the war raging in the airport sector is not yet over; instead, it must now solve the urgent structural deficit currently threatening UK's prime position as a global aviation.
