US High Yield Market Comes Back To Life

Thanks to the eurozone summit agreement, coupled with an improvement in US GDP growth figures (Q311 saw US GDP come in at 2.5% q-o-q annualised, below consensus but an improvement from H111 and decisive evidence that the US is not in recession just yet), investors have been encouraged to return to high yield bond funds. In the week ended October 28 2011, US marketed high yield issuance recorded its strongest week since before global equity market volatility set in back in August of this year.
