Bidding War For AXA PE Asset

The first-round bids for French insurance giant AXA 's private equity unit are now all in. Five bidders successfully submitted their offers for the business by the October 3 deadline, including household names such as Kohlberg Kravis Roberts ( KKR ), BlackRock , and Canada's largest pension fund manager Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec .
