Diageo Outbids Heineken And SABMiller, Set To Complete US$225mn Deal

As Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA)'s beer industry continues to consolidate, Diageo looks to have gotten one over Heineken and SABMiller in Ethiopia after outbidding both by agreeing to pay US$225mn for Ethiopia's government owned Meta Abo Brewery.
