PepsiCo Pushing Greater Integration Of Snacks And Soft Drinks When The Fashion Is For Splitting Up

Shortly after international food giants Kraft and Sara Lee announced they are to split their operations in an attempt to delineate the underlying businesses and unlock shareholder value, PepsiCo has announced a strategy that will see it push for closer integration between its snack and soft drink divisions. PepsiCo has said it will create a 'council' to help coordinate manufacturing, sales and distribution between the two units.
