South Africa's Allied Technologies Buys German STB Manufacturer SetOne

South Africa's Allied Technologies (Altech) is set to proceed with the acquisition of German-based set-top box (STB) vendor SetOne following the completion of satisfactory due diligence and approval by the board of Altech. This is the latest in a series of acquisitions by Altech that are aimed at expanding the company's international footprint as well as positioning it to take advantage of emerging opportunities in its domestic market and across Africa.
