Atheeb Telecom Restructures Capital

Fixed-line provider Atheeb Telecom has announced plans to raise capital through a rights issue. The company offers voice and data services over a WiMAX network but has reported mounting losses as it seeks to provide competition to incumbent STC. While BMI sees limited prospects for the fixed-line market, we believe there may be a positive outlook for the company.
