Uncertainty Surrounds Iraq Mobile Operators' Listing As Deadline Looms

Iraqi mobile operators Zain Iraq, AsiaCell and Korek Telecom are concerned that the local bourse is not ready for their IPOs. This is one month before the August 2011 deadline for the operators to list 25% of their shares on the Baghdad stock exchange in compliance with their licensing agreements of 2007.
