Wal-Mart Plans To Purchase Local Food Worth ZAR60bn

The South African operations of US-based mass grocery retailer Wal-Mart Stores is planning to purchase food worth ZAR60bn (US$8.7bn) from the local market as well as provide employment to 15,000 people in the next five years, Massmart CEO Grant Pattison told Independent Online.
