Infrastructure Nationalisation Not On The Cards

CFW View:The election of new Peruvian president, Ollanta Hualla, certainly marks a break with the past for the country. Because the new government's mandate is narrow, we do not anticipate radical changes in the infrastructure market - contrary to some of Hualla's early rhetoric about the nationalisation of economic infrastructure - though we do expect a significant moderation of the public private partnership (PPP) and concessions pipeline over the term of the Peruvian Nationalist Party.
