Yildirim And Maersk In The Running For Maltese Box Terminal Stake

Turkey's Yildirim Group is reportedly lining itself up to take CMA CGM's 49% stake in the Marsaxlokk Malta Freeport terminal. Interest in the terminal is unsurprising, in CFW's view, as it is a major Mediterranean hub port with throughput growth projected despite downturn risk from EU-Iran sanctions.
