Denmark's AP Moller-Maersk is preparing to go 'to market to find a potential buyer for Maersk LNG'. BMI is bullish on the liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipping sector, with both demand and supply set to increase over the medium-to-long term. We believe the acquisition of Maersk LNG would enable a buyer quickly to increase its exposure to the market, while in return AP Moller-Maersk would be able to focus its investment and resources on more key areas of its business.
